Shawn Williams

Shawn grew up in the Pocono Mts. Of Pa. After high school Shawn enlisted in the Navy where he attended Naval Nuclear Power School as a 3rd Class PO – Electrician’s Mate. He subsequently attended the Navy’s Preparatory School and received an appointment to the U.S. Naval Academy, majored in Chemistry, and received his commission in the U.S. Marine Corps. Shawn served the Corps as an F/A-18 Pilot mostly attached to carrier air wings. Shawn then served as an exchange officer to the U.S. Air Force where he flew the F-15C Eagle with the Mighty Gorillas at Eglin AFB, FL. He also served as the air officer to the 26th MEU during combat operations as part of Operation Odyssey Dawn in Libya. After the MEU Shawn was the Training Officer for VMFAT-101 which teaches brand new navy and marine corps pilots how to fly the F/A-18 Hornet. Shawn finished his career as the Operations and Executive Officer of VMFA-323 in Miramar, CA. After life in the Marines, Shawn followed his passion into the financial services industry and currently works at Bank of America and Merrill Lynch as an Institutional Financial Consultant and a Private Wealth Advisor. Shawn and his wife Megan are raising three boys (Jack, Jameson, and Samuel) in St. Louis County.
